Rome Weather - Rome is a seasonal area, which you’ll find makes the area even more beautiful at different times of the year. Depending on when you are going to visit you’ll need to know a brief bit about what the weather is like at that time.

If you planning to Travel to Rome during the spring and fall seasons you will find Rome to be pleasantly warm with mild temperatures and moderate rainfall. Sounds like a nice to visit and be you can do a lot of sight seeing and not be too hot or too cold. Pack a varied wardrobe and that way you’ll be safe for all occasions. Bring slacks and long sleeves for the cooler time and shorts and lightweight shirts for the warmer times. This is a wonderful time to visit the Rome area many travellers come during these seasons and find it quite comfortable.

Rome in the summer it is hot and sunny with very little rainfall. Perfect to enjoy the outdoor festivals and cultural events that Rome has during these months. Pack lightweight clothing so you are not too warm while visiting all the attractions and during the outdoor activities. Bring plenty of suntan lotion or sun block for exposed skin during your visit to avoid a sunburn.

In the winter months Rome's Weather can be chilly, but the days are generally clear and sunny. This too is a wonderful time to visit if you don’t mind sightseeing wearing a jacket or coat. With the four seasons we find that Rome’s weather is compatible with travelling year round.
