Italy Travel Guide - Rome is so filled with
Christian art and architecture, wonderful sights,

you will also want to see the Basilica de
San Pietro, which was designed by Michaelangelo
and houses his beautiful Pieta painting. There is
a free tour offered through the inside and your guide are volunteers. Be sure to go and see it.

also make sure to visit So Prazza San Pitetro
at noon on Sundays to hear the Pope address the crowd.
A lot of visitors do come to see this so try to get
there early. Make it a point to see the Pantheon.
It was built in the 2nd century ad and is a fantastic
to actually see. While you are inside it pay particular
attention to the dome at the top of the structure.
It is the only light source for the entire building.
The Colosseum where the gladiators
did combat is an awesome sight so be sure to fit that
in too. When the Colosseum was finished being built
in the year 72 ad the city celebrated for 100 days.
It was quite an accomplishment.

what you have heard and a lot more. On the tops of
the seven hills there are a number of beautiful views,
but the best ones are from Pincio, the top of San
Pitetro and Geanicolo. The more you see of Rome Italy the more you will want to learn about it. There is
